In honour of Social Enterprise Day 2020, here are some brands I admire who are doing great things to impact society and the environment.

Social enterprises are at the forefront of having a huge impact on creating a better world.

🙋‍♀️ Women In Travel CIC – Doing great work to empower women in travel, tourism and hospitality, especially at this time when they’re helping with employability and mentoring services

🧑‍💻 Social Change Academy – A learning platform and community for social change makers to gain transformational learning experiences

🍺 Toast – Their ale is brewed with surplus fresh bread to reduce food waste and all profits go to charities fixing the food system. 1st UK brewery to become a B Corp

🧑‍🏫 Shaw Trust – A NFP organisation challenging inequality and breaking down barriers to enable social mobility

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England – Doing incredible work to equip companies and employees with the skills to support mental health

💦 Belu Water Ltd – A carbon neutral bottled water brand that donates 100% of profits to WaterAid. They provide water to UK hotels and restaurants

🧠 The Blurt Foundation – Raising awareness of and increasing understanding of depression, through awesome resources and content
